A beauty appointment can be a small pleasure or a major part of getting ready for work, a wedding or a holiday. Finding the right place starts with knowing what you need: a stylist who understands your hair, a nail technician with a clear cleaning routine, or a retailer carrying a particular body product. This address book covers two Nigerian cities and three other African capitals. It is a useful shortlist, not a ranking of the continent’s best businesses.

Abuja: Wuse appointments and mall shopping

In Abuja, Nature Strands Beauty Place lists 33 Yaounde Street, Wuse, on its merchant booking page, with services including locs, styling and crochet installations. Check whether washing and blow-drying are separate charges. For product shopping, Essenza’s official store directory lists Grand Mall in the Central Business District and Novare Gateway Mall in Lugbe, on Airport Road. Choose the branch that suits your journey and ask about the exact product before setting out.

Lagos: separate the salon trip from the shopping trip

In Lagos, NetBeauty Africa lists braiding, wig installation, manicures and pedicures at 25 Allan Balogun Street, Agungi, Lekki Peninsula II. Its own website is the source for those service and address details; this guide does not independently certify its training or hygiene claims. On the mainland, Essenza lists Shop L50 at Ikeja City Mall, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Alausa. A salon booking in Agungi and shopping in Ikeja are separate destinations: leave enough time rather than promising yourself a tightly packed beauty day.

Nairobi: neighbourhood salons and beauty counters

In Nairobi, LizClement’s official service page lists branches in the CBD and Kilimani, offering braiding, loc maintenance, wig services and nail care. Request the current branch pin when booking. Lintons Beauty World’s official locator includes Sarit Center in Westlands, Yaya Centre and The Junction Mall; its catalogue includes skincare, body, nail and hair categories. These are places to enquire about availability, not a guarantee that a particular shade, size or brand is on the shelf.

Accra: natural-hair care and fragrance shopping

In Accra, Twists & Locs provides natural-hair services and lists hair products and accessories. Its website highlights a Labone relocation across the street from La Borracha; because an older landmark also remains in the footer, ask the salon to send the current map pin. The operator also lists an East Legon location in Adjiriganor on Boundary Road. For fragrance, skincare and makeup shopping, Scentopia’s locator includes Accra Mall and Oxford Street Mall in Osu. Confirm which branch carries the item you want.

Cairo: hair, nails and a branch-specific plan

In Cairo, La Coupe lists a Heliopolis salon at 29 El Nozha Street. Its service menu includes hair styling, colour, manicures, pedicures and hair removal; prices are described as starting points, with the final amount determined in consultation. Harraz Beauty’s branch page lists Capital Mall, plot 53 in the services area behind New Cairo Court, and shop 179 in Al Rehab’s old commercial market. Ask about the specific body-care item before visiting. Do not treat a branch marked “opening soon” as an operating salon.

Book the service, not just the photograph

Send a reference photograph, but also describe your hair length, previous chemical services, preferred nail length and available time. Ask for the total including extensions, wash, removal, nail art and any deposit. Confirm cancellation terms, whether the requested stylist is available and how instruments and footbaths are cleaned. For a private appointment or particular accessibility need, ask directly instead of relying on the atmosphere suggested by a social-media image.

How this directory was checked

The addresses and service descriptions above were checked against operator websites or merchant booking listings on 19 September 2026. No in-person inspection, comparative quality testing or independent certification audit was performed. Business listings are sources for their own advertised locations and services—not proof that every marketing claim is true. Hours, prices, branches and stock can change. Use the linked primary listings to reconfirm before paying or travelling.

For products, keep the packaging and receipt, read the ingredient and use instructions, and ask about returns before opening a purchase. A more expensive jar is not automatically better suited to you. A salon can help with grooming choices; a persistent skin, scalp or nail problem needs a qualified health professional rather than an ever-longer shopping list.
