Mauritania names new cabinet after power-fire inquiry forces government reset
President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani retained Prime Minister El Moctar Ould Djay but reshuffled defence, interior, health, energy and other portfolios after an inquiry identified serious failures around August’s substation fires.
