The eight-part crime thriller arrives on Netflix on 4 September after, according to its director, six years in conception. Its ensemble includes Ramsey Nouah, Chidi Mokeme, Adunni Ade, Michelle Dede, Sharon Ooja, Uche Montana and Jackie Appiah.

The format matters: long-form streaming gives Nigerian filmmakers room to build intersecting lives rather than compress every turn into a single feature. Viewers should judge whether the series uses that space for character, not only cliff-hangers.
