Contemporary Nigerian fashion is not one aesthetic. Minimal tailoring, handwoven cloth, streetwear, bridal ateliers and experimental materials coexist in Lagos and across the diaspora.

Runways create attention, but production capacity, skilled labour, retail and intellectual-property protection determine whether a label becomes sustainable. The industry story is as much about infrastructure as glamour.
